Deceased Name: Margaret L. Berman Glazman

Margaret L. Berman Glazman, 82, North 19th Avenue East, died Friday, Jan. 5, 1996, in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. She was born in Duluth and graduated from Duluth Central High School. She attended Duluth State Teacher's College. She married Hyman G.I. Berman in 1936. They lived in Nebraska from 1936 until 1941; in Michigan from 1941 to 1955; and in Wisconsin from 1955 to 1969. She returned to Duluth in 1969. She worked for Sears in the catalog department from 1957 until retiring from the Duluth store in 1969. She married Harry Glazman in 1982. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Temple Israel, Hadassah, Sisterhoods of Temple Israel, Adaf Israel and the alumni board of University of Minnesota-Duluth. Her parents were Joseph and Fanny Weiner London. Her husband, Hyman Berman, died July 6, 1966; and her second husband, Harry Glazman, died on Jan. 18, 1994. She is survived by two sons, Allan Berman of Ontonagon, Mich., and Anthony Berman of Green Bay, Wis.; two stepsons, James Glazman and Aaron Glazman, both of Duluth; a brother, Sam London of Duluth; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Services: 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Temple Israel in Duluth. Burial will be in Shaara Tzedek Cemetery in Hermantown. Arrangements are by Johnson Mortuary in Duluth. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Society.
